I love being able to photograph a baby I’ve photographed before when they’re older. It never ceases to amaze me how much difference a few months makes. Little Gus wasn’t even able to sit up for more than a few seconds by himself when I last photographed him. At 1 year, he’s walking around and saying “ball.”
“Oh please lady.”
When I first met the Trujillo family, I knew I would love the session when I was greeted by two big dogs. Mom and dad were both incredibly outgoing and warm and their 6 month old son was such a joy to photograph. How could you not love his big brown eyes?

I know Nicholas’ mom from my days of working in an office. I had not seen Nicholas since he was teeny tiny so I loved getting to see him all grown up. 6 months older than my son, he was running, climbing, interested in the water and dolphins, and eventually warmed up to me via a bit of peek-a-boo. 
The first photograph is one of my favorites.
